Ideas worth spreading are those that are inspiring, encouraging and world-changing ideas. and this is what I believe TED and TEDx are mainly about.
Even if you’re not in Bethlehem or can’t go there, you still have a chance to attend one of the cities that will host some of the speakers like Amman and Beirut. Other cities have committed to live stream like Dubai, Montreal and Reykjavik and others.
Speakers and performers at TEDxRamallah are one of the most inspiring in the region; Suad Amiry: author of “Sharon and my Mother in-Law: Ramallah Diaries”, Jamil Abu Wardeh: was a TEDGlobal speaker in 2010, Munir Fasheh: he established the Arab Education Forum within Harvard University’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies, DAM: the first Palestinian hip hop crew. Julia Bacha: She recently won the King Hussein Leadership Prize, Abedalrahman Katanany: His caricatures were exhibited from 2001 to 2008 in Beirut and a number of European countries of which France, Spain, and Norway.
