  1. This is a very intelligent well aimed ad.. I believe it is a productive one.. but do people watch such ads?.. will it carry the message? Only hope

  2. In jordan, it’s as bad as you think, but we don’t say it on video.

and guess who is behind these divisions? to secure its place in a country that is 90% sunni arab with centuries of rootedness in this region, the regime has worked tirelessly to deepen provincial identifications and divisions. without such divisions, it would be hard for the regime to secure its place in Jordan. what we saw in Yarmouk and in other places including west v east jordan tensions is not an accident, it’s a product of years of feeding tribal and provincial tensions. this is actually unheard of in any of the surrounding countries.

  3. the country was established on sectarian basis so it became inherited and that was spreaded out in the culture. everything from policy to employment everything is divided. you just can’t notice any effective party that represents more than one sect.
diversity is blessing but they turned it into a curse. that’s really sad.

  4. This ad touched me like nothing else recently…it really represents the lebanese situation since more than 30 years, lebanon is divided, whatever you people here wherever you are outside of lebanon about civil life in lebanon is pure crap! theres nothing like it here,i was born in a lebanese family…i live i Bierut, and i know its not so …even regions are split and divided, if i have to discribe lebanon in few words..those words would be ” somehow put together ” thats the reality here, lebanon has more than 18 sects, this diversity is a real curse !! and im not being pessimistic here… thats a very optimistic attitude, Lebanon suffered civil war for 15 years in a single stretch, its such a small peice of land, one wonders how it could survive, israel alone is more than enough !!
in 1991 a full stop came to the civil war, but now everybody is growing up in a family where stories are told about how christians used to kill muslims…how muslism used to kill christians…so …in a sense…the war has not ended, its just cold at the moment, that makes 90 % of lebanese people are still living with the hangover of the civil war, and thats again a very optimistic estimation, except for few people here and there who cant see a difference between a muslim and a christian…damn it..blood test cant figure out who is muslim and who is christian !! few days ago i went to my hairdresser with a friend of mine who is christian, “i dont like using words like muslim and christian..but just for the writing’s sake” …the hair dresser started speaking against chrisitians with four letter words…i told the guy ( was just joking) my friend here is a christian , u should have some manners, he was like ” he doesnt look like christian! ” i was like how to define a christian, i looked at my friend’s forehead to see wether theres a certain sign or something !! what is christian and what is muslim ? people are born as human being, its their society that makes them either christian , muslims or whatnot…the irony is … people brag about being muslims or christians…as if they have decided where to be bron before their birth, they brag about accidents !! such stupidity that lebanese people will take hundreds of years to overcome….and as i see it…its not a lebanese special case…its so inclusive, its human in general, its only accentuized here in lebanon because life wanted to put those people together…maybe they will learn something, but they haven’t…the same militia leaders from all sects who created the civil war, who spilled blood, are the leaders still today , isnt that proof enough !?? in 15 years the lebanes community hasnt been able to recognize that its time to say goodbye to all those jackasses and have a new fresh start, with new faces, a new hope…lebanon doesnt lack geniuses, lebanon has been exporting geniuses eversince it was born , we have what it takes …perhaps more than it takes to make this land the most beautiful country ever , still everybody here is drugged with their religions, i will say it clear here…and i would ask religious people reading this to excuse me ( FUCK RELIGIONS ) i dont make distinction between all religions, they all have been exploiting man’s life, all wars that have been fought on this earth have religious background, it doesnt matter whose the leader for a lebanese….if im a christian…it doesnt matter if hes a killer…at least hes a christian…then hes a perfect leader, so it is with muslims …durzis and others…people are drugged..the majority of people are not mature enough to see that this fellow is criminal and he should be sentenced to death, or at least…he should do himself and others a favor and just SHUT UP! everybody is following criminals, the very same people who killed each others..and this is the case with all sects all over the globe..Lebanon can never be put right unless a secular governing happens…yes..secular, where the cardinal has not to poke his nose in politics, where the sheikhs stay at their mosque praying to good and dreaming of the luxuries of paradise… un-interfering with political life, those scums have great influences over people’s mind, they have authority…whatever they say seems as if its coming from god him self…and poor people follow blindly ! as if god bothers about such fools, who are the religious leaders ?? they are politicians with religious garments…thats all…the cardinal is supposed to preach jesus christ and the bible, here hes provoking christians against muslims…the sheikh should preach religion, love…forgiveness…here hes provoking muslims against each others….i have no resepect for religious leaders…they suck shit !! and im being disrespectful to shit really…but i know shit is going to forgive me…so a secular government is the only hope for lebanon,THE ONLY, but i say it and i know its not going to happen ….who will leave power once they have it ? leaders have power from the masses…the masses can be only dominated only with religions, yes…karl marx is right, i hate the man, but he was right when he said…” religion is the opium of the masses” i can see it here everyday, who will leave the power ?? nobody, and there are external reasons also, perhaps this joke will illustrate few things….

When god was creating Lebanon few angels asked him ” why are u being so generous with this place ?? beautiful mountains….lakes…beaches …you are being so much with those people….” god answered …. you are not aware of their neighbors..its Israel and Syria !! god said…

so the whole world will be standing against lebanon EVER becoming a free country, because thats not going to be of any benefits to anybody …neither syria nor israel ….nor anybody else…

sorry for this long writing…but i can feel the wound more than anybody else reading this perhaps, im not fanatic about being a lebanese …it was an accident that i was born in a lebanese family…i dont believe in geography…i claim to be a universal being…but i lived in this country and i love it more than any other place..

May the love of god be with lebanon and the whole of our mother earth, may He guide our hearts, may he open our eyes and shower His blessings on the whole of humanity, humanity is one, all discriminations happen only in our tiny minds..they are always oriented …they dont have any reality, they dont serve mankind…they have not yet…and never will….

    thank u ….
    peace….

The only thing is not logic about this asd is the fact they the main focus is on islam, as if all christian in Lebanon are Maroons..

Nart habibi si kuosh it’s trueth that all the Lebanesee Christians not only Maroni…there is also small Greek catholic Melchite comunity, Greek Ortodox, Protestants comunityes and Armenian diaspora (very closed in their own Ghetto). Maroni also are separated between 2 camps Mischele Aoun and Samir Geagea. Many of my maronis friends the dont consider themselwes as arabs. You can read something from AbuArz(Etien Sakr) to understand the situation. It’s not possible now to speak about one Lebaneese nation. But it will not be possible notime to immagine one Lebanesee arab nation.

magari…When this day arrive? I’m so waiting for it. When Masciah will come…
Better to leave now jewish-cristian escatology, but …i really wish people will understand eventually that we are human beings without titles. I wish that Muslim’s, Jewish’s and Cristian’s leaders will also understand something not to separate the people but how to unite them not under autority of one doctrine or dogma…but unite in their differences.
